FAQ

Are you an official real estate company ?

We are a licensed realtor company based in Osaka, working closely with clients. We operate as a direct licensed real estate agency, not as intermediaries. This is our official licence number: 大阪府知事(1第64927号).

Do you offer English-speaking agents and services?

We currently have half of our customers coming from Japan and the other half from abroad. As a foreign real estate company, we assist clients in multiple languages and explain the cultural aspects of the Japanese real estate market. Whether you speak English, French, or Japanese, we can guide you through every step of the rental process—from finding the right neighborhood in Osaka to understanding the lease terms and setting up utilities.

What services do you provide?

We can help you with:

  • Renting you an apartment or a house with a local contract
  • Buying or Selling your house
  • AirBnB Investments or a package solution

What Airbnb services do you provide?

Airbnb is one of the best ways to maximize the profit you can get from a property. With the laws constantly evolving and the difficulty in obtaining a license, it is hard for non-Japanese companies to enter the market. Maido Real Estate already operates its own Airbnb. We offer a personalized all-in-one solution that includes house search, market and profitability studies, license procedures, and Airbnb management.

As a foreigner do I need a guarantor to rent an house in Japan?

It’s better if you have one, of course, but nowadays it’s not strictly necessary. However, you will need an emergency contact in Japan who can respond in case of any issues.
